The 25 year old man walked down the path, not knowing where he was going, nor did he care that he was lost. Not just lost physically, but mentally as well. Everyone loved him, he was everything he ever dreamed of.

There was a man….a lonely man.
A worker man, & his playing…

But he was alone. He was too busy, always too busy. He never saw his mother or family anymore. He never had time for himself, or for his dog, or for his best friend. He didn’t have time to teach, or do anything fun. Of course, his job was fun, most of the time. But doing the same thing everyday….all the time.

And Solitaire’s the only game in town
Every road that takes him takes him down…

And another problem…he didn’t have time to fall in love. Sure, there were plenty of girls out there that adored him and would do anything to marry him. Sure, it would be easy to just say, ok you can marry me. No, he was above that. And he wanted love. Real love. Not love for what he did, or the money he made. He wanted to be loved for himself.

And by himself its easy to pretend
He’ll never love again…

And so, he waited. There was someone out there for him, somewhere. He believed God made everything happen for a divine reason, at the right time. So he’d wait. One day he’d meet her. One day…

And keeping to himself he plays the game
Without her love it always ends the same.

And so, he’d continue doing what he did. When his career slowed down, he’d find love.

While life goes on around him everywhere.
